The Angel of Death

A lonely ship on an endless ocean,
A stranded car on a deserted road,
A thunderstorm…
a windy and eternal night,
time no longer moves on,
When the dark clouds thunder perrenially,
When the animals rush into their homes,
When the dead shall rise once more,
You will know,
The Angel of death is here.
A dead man on a teeming street,
No one to give him a proper burial,
A mother weeping for her missing child…
No one to wipe her tears,
When the night never seems to end…
When the cries of pain become louder…
When all that walks shall drop down dead…
You will know,
The Angel of death is here.
A vacant playground…
A swarming graveyard…
A part of earth dead…
When there shall be cries all around…
Dead bodies scattered everywhere…
When there shall be blood on every street…
And none shall have a brother…
Sister, mother or father…
You now know,
The Angel of death is here,
And the long night…
…Has finally ended…forever…
